HAHAHAHA

It looks like a SCREAMING ZIT! LOL POP MEEEEE!

JKAmovies responds:

Haha, it does. . . Good observation ;P

A great concept,

The work is good. I found it hard to believe you did it in secondary school! Great job cutting the stencil out! The face looks really good.

Viridis responds:

Thanks dudemanbro :D

This is amazing!

Great work. The lighting on the face is especially accurate. The sneer on the mouth. Thuggish.

Occluded responds:

Thank you kindly ma'am.

Holy Cow!

This picture is definitely exciting, to say the least!

The bleeding of the colors worked out very well for this piece. The repetition is something I wouldn't have thought to do. Great Great Great

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

I repeated it like 6 times and decided to put 4 of them together. originally this was going to be a floating island in a sky, but i screwed up hahaha so i decided to just make it a trippy planet thing. Thanks!

This flower is a little rootbound?

I love the head and tail of this flower! It looks stuck and pitiful !!!

My eyes naturally drew away from the leaves, I think the hair threw me off.

Other than that, great mood! And a good title for it.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

The flower was not supposed to be very detailed, i focused mainly on the surroundings and made it as simple as possible. I am not that great with flowers haha. Thanks for the review!

Very well portrayed!

And the sky looks like gauze! I can see that misty feeling around this lonely tree we all get when we are sad...

I do think sgtkill may be right about the tree needing some buff around the bottom... though you may have intended this tree to look flimsy and starved. I take that how it is though, and I think it should stay this way.

I also like that little bush :3 and great detail around the flowers!

PaedarchyGreed responds:

I never thought about the gauze thing, ha ha. Yeah it does :P
Maybe its metaphorically the "gauze over the wounds"

Thank you so much for the input and the compliments ^_^
I totally appreciate it, it keeps me painting! <3

Good

Perspective is good amongst the flies, I see you used watercolor and it seems colored pencil?

I can't really see why some of the popcorn is glowing like uranium, and some detail behind the flies would be good, if you wanted to really make the piece pop, I would like to see vibrant color like in your other stuff. Good job though!

Actionsquid responds:

I agree. I'm on a deadline, so I often end up rushing parts of my drawings. I was going for that eerie night time glow that comes from the TV in a dark room, so that is why some of the popcorn (as well as the flies, bowl, and remote) have blue on them. That one in the middle sure does stick out like a sore thumb though, doesn't it? By the way, you were spot on with the mediums, but I used regular mechanical pencil for the remote. I am very impressed with your review.

This caught my eye

Excellent detail and expression... body language. The balloons are super scary. I like the morphing stages. I would buy this :)

ghlow responds:

thanks! It's always good to hear my art is good enough to rake in some $$. It's an intimidating career path, to say the least.

lots of expression

So much going on here, it caught my eye...

Wondering why the word "Bath" is there? I would take that out. Other than that, it all works together well and tells a story.

Oelbachtaucher responds:

Thanks. Maybe I'll leave it out next time :D

Beautiful!

And I like the use of color! Is this on canvas?

The expression moved me.

"Oh no, it's a bat! Oh, wait no, it's just CatBat..."

spookycube responds:

Thanks! This is actually hand-inked, scanned, and then colored with a mix of ArtRage and Photoshop.
